This bridge was once the Drovers main crossing for the river. The Drovers used to drive their cattle to market along recognised trails, most have become todays modern roads. It has now been superceded by a more modern road bridge in Carrbridge, and in the summer the local children can be found jumping from the old bridge into the deep water below.
